Mohamed Salah states his prediction for Liverpool FC v Real Madrid

Mohamed Salah is confident that Liverpool FC have what it takes to beat Real Madrid in the Champions League final this month.

The Reds have been in superb form in Europe’s elite club competition this season and have beaten the likes of Manchester City and AS Roma on their way to reaching the final.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are now looking to prevent Real Madrid from winning the competition for the third season running following the Spanish side’s dominance of the trophy in recent years.

Liverpool FC will first look to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League by avoiding defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield on Sunday.

The Reds will then switch their attentions towards their crunch showdown with Real Madrid in Kiev on Saturday 26 May.

And Salah is backing the Reds to be able to claim victory over the Spanish giants at the end of the month.

Salah is quoted as saying by Liverpool FC’s website: “We want to qualify for the Champions League next season and then we want to win the Champions League final.

“We will play to win against Real Madrid, but for now we are thinking only about Brighton. Then we will have 14 days to prepare for the final.

“It’s always special to play in any final. We know it’s not going to be easy. But we will give 100 per cent to win the game and I am very excited about it.”

Salah has been in sensational form for Liverpool FC so far this season, scoring 43 goals in all competitions for Klopp’s side since his move to the club from AS Roma last year.

He was voted as the PFA player of the year following his brilliant displays.
